Here is a simple book where you fold over paper, make two cuts and a slit then slide the sheets together. More pages can be made with the cuts to pull through the slit.
Idea: use poster board, scrapbook card stock, or recycled cereal box as the cover and add paper pages.

One Sheet Pocket Book
You can use any size paper, double sided scrapbook paper is ideal since it has some weight to it.

Easy One Sheet Minibook with Recycled Covers
Little and easy to make mini book using one sheet of paper for 16 pages (including end papers) and cereal boxes for covers. Binding is a simple stitch, pamphlet stitch. Covers are magazine pages.
If you want more pages, just use extra sheets of paper.
You can also use scrapbook paper, even cutting some scrapbook paper to use as the end pages.
Ribbon or fancy yarn can be used to bind the book.

The tape used is washi tape. You could also use a strip of scrapbook paper with glue.
You can make a few of these, stack them and then recycled cardboard for the covers.
For binding, you could use an elastic or simple binding technique.

This journal was made out of six paper bags which were opened and cut to 10 x 15.5 then folded in half.
Three sheets per bag.

Quick, easy and inexpensive to make minibook. You can use scrap booking patterned paper or colored paper even mix and match. Make sure your paper has a bit of weight to it to be sturdy. Use a punch to trim/round the corners.
